 they go to McKenna's Estranged wife, Emily, where he hopes to find the Predator armor that he mailed. However, Rory, McKenna's son with autism, is tricked-or-treated wearing this armor in hopes of avoiding detection by the bullies.

McKenna and the others find their son in time to stop a pair of hunting dogs before ambushing the ;li ;l[0o bioubj .boy. McKenna shoots a grenade into his mouth, killing one of the dogs, causing the dog to explode. Nebraska bites another dog after being shot in the head by mistake. 

The hunter chases them to a nearby school. They begin to give the hunter's armor back when another, much larger hunter arrives and faces the first battle. The group escapes, and the second Predator kills the first Predator before setting up to retrieve lost technology.

Brackett concludes that hunters are attempting to better themselves with the DNA of humans and, possibly, inhabitants of other planets. The team runs to an abandoned barn, but Tregger finds them, captures them, and shares his theory that predators predict that climate change will end their ability to retrieve human DNA for further hybridization Dega, so they are scrambling to get it again before they get it. late.
